With trout doing approximately 90 percent of their feeding subsurface, a few good nymphs are essential to the success of a native trout angler. The nymphs that I use run the gambit between life-like imitators and suggestive attractors and big swinging type nymphs to minute patterns best fished below another fly as a dropper.
